• A jam-packed agenda awaited members of the Pittsburgh Alliance for Response at their June 17 meeting. Presentations covered topics including "Public Relations During a Crisis," Fire Safety and Fire Inspections, and a tour through the Rodef Shalom archival facilities to assess disaster vulnerability and preservation conditions. • Following an Alliance for Response Forum in December of 2009, a group of cultural/historical sites, institutions, and collections repositories in Chatham County have been meeting. They were formally organized as Savannah Heritage Emergency Response (SHER) in April, and SHER has been assigned a workstation at the county’s Emergency Operations Center.
