Alliance for Response Leadership Roundtable
Over the last five years, Alliance for Response has been effective on many levels: encouraging disaster planning, establishing new community partnerships, and influencing local emergency policies. The Alliance for Response Leadership Roundtable on November 18, 2008, afforded an opportunity to share the many innovative local projects that have resulted from the national initiative. Heritage Preservation sponsored this invitation-only, working meeting to bring together leaders from past and future Alliance for Response Forums. Participants discussed what makes Forums successful, how to engage civic leaders and emergency responders, and identified resources, strategies, and models to help sustain local networks.
