SHER Meeting
On July 28th, SHER held a business meeting followed by a presentation about Georgia's new contract for recovery services and met representatives of the three prequalified companies. The contract is for local and state government entities and libraries, but non-profits who are FEMA-eligible can use their services at the rates negotiated by the state. In order to be FEMA-eligible there are documents that must be submitted in advance of invoking the contract. Information about the process of certifying your organization can be found here.
