Monument Treatment Solicitations
Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration has the opportunity to conserve historic monuments in its cemeteries. A list of current opportunities follows and will be updated as more are announced. This list is being compiled to the best of Heritage Preservation’s ability.
For the solicitation and scope of work documents, go to www.fbo.gov, and enter the solicitation number in the Quick Search box at the top right of the page. There will be both a Solicitation Order and Scope of Work document for each monument. Note that the documents may be updated, so you may wish to check www.fbo.gov again before submitting a proposal. Because of the special funding for these projects, work must be completed in a timely manner and contractors should consider their schedules carefully when considering making a proposal.
