We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) was able to make seven additional Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) awards in September, bringing the total number of 2003 CAP awards to 117. Recipients of the awards are the Artillery Company of Newport (RI), Dowd Fine Arts Gallery (NY), Rachel Carson Homestead Association (PA), Orange Hall (GA), Puppetry Arts Institute (MO), Edwin Wolters Memorial Museum (TX), and Northern New York Agricultural Historical Society (NY). The additional awards were made with remaining FY 2003 IMLS conservation funds. For a complete list of 2003 CAP awardees, click here. FY 2004 CAP Application Available October 10 Nearly 4,000 FY 2004 CAP applications will be mailed on October 10, 2003.
