Best Practices for General Conservation Assessments is a synopsis of tips and techniques shared at the June 2002 workshop for collections assessors. We hope that these tips will be instructive to all assessors, whether collections or architectural, experienced or novice.

Capitalize on Collections Care outlines basic fund-raising principles, successful strategies to raise support for collections care, and ways to use preservation and conservation for fund-raising.

The Conservation Assessment: A Tool for Planning, Implementing and Fund-raising provides a checklist for conducting a general conservation assessment. It is now available to download and print so that a copy can be written on for each assessment.
