Brought to You By....The Heritage Health Index survey was made possible through the generous foresight of numerous foundations and a government agency. The Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Getty Grant Program have been the lead funders of the Heritage Health Index through its planning and development. Both have renewed their commitments with continued major funding for implementation of the project. The Henry Luce Foundation and the Samuel H. Kress Foundation have both awarded grants to the Heritage Health Index in 2004. These grants support the portion of the project that covers the condition of collections of American art and European art, respectively. Additional funding for the Heritage Health Index has come from the Bay Foundation, the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, and the Peck Stacpoole Foundation. Heritage Preservation is deeply grateful to these funders who have recognized the significance of the information that the Heritage Health Index will generate. As a result of their support, the collections that constitute our heritage will be safer for future generations. |
