How You Can Help the Heritage Health Index Succeed

• If you work at a collecting institution that receives the Heritage Health Index survey, help see that it is completed and returned promptly. In most cases the survey will be mailed to the director’s office.

• If you are a conservator in private practice or at a conservation center, encourage your clients in collecting institutions to complete the survey. For small institutions, hearing about the Heritage Health Index from someone they know and trust will make a big difference.

• Encourage your colleagues to complete the Heritage Health Index at their institutions.

• Distribute information about the Heritage Health Index at meetings and conferences you attend this summer and fall. Our staff will be happy to provide you with flyers.
