Alliance for Response to be Featured at Emergency Preparedness Symposium The Alliance for Response project will be one of the topics at the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services symposium New Frontiers in Emergency Preparedness on January 14 in Boston. The half-day symposium spotlights new directions in emergency preparedness and response. Jane Long, Director of the Heritage Emergency National Task Force, will be speaking about the groundbreaking Alliance for Response forums. Also featured will be dPlan, an online emergency preparedness tool developed by the Northeast Document Conservation Center and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Other speakers include Gregor Trinkaus-Randall, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners; Bernard Margolis, Boston Public Library; G.
