A Google Groups discussion forum has begun to help inform Rescue Public Murals’ Web page on Best Practices for Mural Creation. Muralists, conservators, and public art administrators are invited to share their experiences on how mural materials are withstanding the outdoor environment. Restoration Work

In August, work begins on the restoration of Homage to Seurat: La Grande Jatte in Harlem by the late Eva Cockcroft. The mural in West Harlem on West 142nd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Hamilton Place is on an apartment building that faces Hope Steven Garden, an active community garden.
