After more than a decade in print, the Emergency Response and Salvage Wheel remains the gold standard for concise, professional advice on protecting collections from water damage. English-language versions are in use worldwide, and there are translations available in Chinese, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. Heritage Preservation is pleased to announce that the Wheel has now been produced in Arabic by the Arab Image Foundation in Beirut, Lebanon. The Foundation will distribute 1,500 copies throughout the Middle East to “raise awareness of the importance of emergency planning and response.” The Arabic Wheel translation and printing were supported by the Getty Foundation to the Arab Image Foundation.
