Tips for developing a similar conservation program

  • Allow plenty of time for collaborations between educators and conservators to develop and succeed, especially if this is the first time that they are working together.

  • Explore how information about conservation can fit into existing education programs and materials, such as docent tours, wall texts, and brochures.

  • Collaborate with science and art curriculum specialists at the district and county level. They are an enthusiastic resource and a wealth of experience.
