DETERIORATION
Years of neglect have created a backlog of outdoor sculpture and monuments in serious need of attention. Often cities, schools and other government agencies do not place a priority on their care, because of other pressing needs. The illusion of permanence is deceptive. These artworks are in peril from neglect, vandalism and pollution, vulnerable regardless of material.
